Copyright By purchasing the photo, do I own the photo's copyright? The copyright holder is the track photographer unless s/he agrees in writing to sign over the copyright to you. Copyright of an image is assumed when the photographer hits the shutter button on the camera and is protected under Federal Copyright law. Please support your track photographers, their employees and their families by purchasing orginals and not copying. Thank you on their behalf.
Framing Can you frame the picture for me?

Yes, we offer framing on all our prints. The sizes include 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, 24x30 and 32x40. We use a very nicely appointed walnut finished frame with a snow white mat and everything is placed behind glass. To finish the print, we add a protective paper dust cover on the backside of the print and pre-wire the frame for you. We also include the hanging hardware, so the only thing you will need is a hammer to tack it to the wall. Our professionally framed pictures are priced below the typical amount you would pay at your local framing store-and you receive at your door step.

Framing Can I choose a different color of Mat to match the decor of my room?

Our standard framed picture includes a snow white mat. When requested, we can use Mats of various colors that may fit your room more appropriately.

Framing Can I frame the picture myself? Yes, we sell win photos unframed.  The pricing of each photo will be displayed in drop-down menus when you click on an image thumbnail.
Ordering How much do you charge for your win photos? Pricing of our win photos will vary from racetrack to racetrack.  Our pricing is competitive with the track photographers prices. (most often, they are the same)  The pricing of each photo will be displayed in drop-down menus when you click on a image thumbnail.
Ordering Can I place my order by phone? Yes, you can place an order by telephone.  Please call (905)377-1032 to speak with a sales representative.
Ordering What type of payments do you accept?

Online orders are payable with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal and check or money order.  If you are paying by any of the above credit cards or PayPal, our site will send you to our payment page at Paypal. Please note, you do not have to register with Paypal to process your credit card. Once you have completed Paypal payment you will recieve a confirmation from them via email. This credit card transaction will appear on your bill as "PAYPAL *RACEHORSEPH".  PayPal is one of the most trusted names in payment processing on the Internet.  Should you wish to pay by check or USD money order, please write your order# on the back.  Please note:  Only checks drawn on US Dollar bank accounts will be accepted.

Ordering Can I cancel an order? You may cancel an order any time before the photo has been printed without any cancellation fees. Custom orders are non- refundable.
Ordering Credit Card Security: Using Credit Card CVV2 Codes When completing your credit card payment, PayPal will ask you to provide the CVV2 security number from your credit card. This 3-4 digit number can be found on the back of your credit card usually above the signature line. This will enable PayPal to verify your card and process your order as quickly as possible. Please see below for information on where to find this number on your card.
   
Photo Searching How do I find my photos? To search Thoroughbred photos, click here.  To search Standardbred photos, click here. When you get to either of these pages, you have two search options. The first is to search by the horse, owner, trainer or driver and the other is to search by racetrack and date.
Printing Print Quality? All orders are printed on high-quality paper using genuine ultrachrome pigment inks supplied by the printer manufacturer. We do not refill our cartridges with generic ink. Images are printed at the highest resolution.
Printing What is included in the win photo? Each win photo will include the picture you wish to purchase as well as the corresponding text; Horse's name, owner's name, trainer's name, jockey/driver's name, time of the race, purse amount.  If the race was a stakes race, the name of the stake will also appear in the win photo.
Printing What is the largest photo you offer? The largest photo we print and frame is 32"x40".  If you would like anything larger, please give us a call.

Racetracks My local track is not a partner with your site. We are curently seeking relationships with all track photographers in North America. If you would like to have this service available at your local racetrack, please tell the photographer or track management that you would like your track added to Racehorsephoto.com
Registration How do I register? Please complete the registration form at this page.
Registration Why register with your site? By registering your name and information with our site, each time you visit and log-in, our website will automaticly search for all your win photos and display a list of your horses on the website's left navigation bar using a drop down menu. Select a horse from the list to view your photos of that horse.
Registration What is required to register? Your name, any stables you own or share ownership in, your telephone number and your email address.  No credit card is required to register.
Shipping When will my order ship? All orders are shipped the next business day (even framed pictures and enlargements). In some cases, where time permits, orders placed by 2:00pm est can be shipped out the same day.
Shipping How do you ship my order? You determine how you would like your picture shipped during your check-out procedure. We typically ship via the postal service but can ship by UPS or Express Post.
Shipping Can I track my order? Yes you can.  Simply login to your personalized page and click on "Track My Order" near the top right of the page.
